Gospel Luke 6:36-38 Grant pardon, and you will be pardoned Jesus said to his disciples: ‘Be compassionate as your Father is compassionate. Do not judge, and you will not be judged yourselves; do not condemn, and you will not be condemned yourselves; grant pardon, and you will be pardoned. Give, and there will be gifts for you: a full measure, pressed down, shaken together, and running over, will be poured into your lap; because the amount you measure out is the amount you will be given back.’ Reflection How many times have we hurt our love ones or do things which lead us to sin. Yet again and again Christ forgive us and continue to shower grace. Again what he wants is do not judge and condemn but continue to forgive again and again. During this season do you forgive and seek forgiveness? Let us pray Lord Jesus May we continue to love and continuously forgive and seek forgiveness as we journey to your kingdom. Amen

Gospel Matthew 5:43-48 Pray for those who persecute you Jesus said to his disciples: ‘You have learnt how it was said: You must love your neighbour and hate your enemy. But I say this to you: love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you; in this way you will be sons of your Father in heaven, for he causes his sun to rise on bad men as well as good, and his rain to fall on honest and dishonest men alike. For if you love those who love you, what right have you to claim any credit? Even the tax collectors do as much, do they not? And if you save your greetings for your brothers, are you doing anything exceptional? Even the pagans do as much, do they not?
