John 15:9-11

Remain in my love

Jesus said to his disciples:

‘As the Father has loved me,

so I have loved you.

Remain in my love.

If you keep my commandments

you will remain in my love,

just as I have kept my Father’s commandments

and remain in his love.

I have told you this

so that my own joy may be in you

and your joy be complete.’

Reflection:

Jesus invites us not just to believe in Him, but to remain in His love—something active and alive. This love is sustained through obedience, not as a burden, but as a path to true joy. When we live according to His commandments, we are rooted in a love that fulfills us completely, a joy that the world cannot give or take away.

Question for reflection:

Am I truly living in Christ’s love by the way I choose to act each day?

Prayer:

Lord Jesus, help me to remain in Your love by following Your ways. Fill my heart with Your joy, that my life may reflect Your goodness. Amen.
