Forget your life on earth

GospelJohn 12:24-26

Jesus said to his disciples:

‘I tell you, most solemnly,

unless a wheat grain falls on the ground and dies,

it remains only a single grain;

but if it dies,

it yields a rich harvest.

Anyone who loves his life loses it;

anyone who hates his life in this world

will keep it for the eternal life.

If a man serves me, he must follow me,

wherever I am, my servant will be there too.

If anyone serves me, my Father will honour him.’

Reflection
This reading clearly show us to focus our energy on God.
What happen here is many of us chase the way of the world. We aim to accumulate wealth on earth until we forget about serving God
When we choose to be disciples of christ he ask us to be his witness by word action and deed.
In that we will please the Father and allow us a place in the kingdom of God

Prayer
Oh God continue to be present in our life so that we can continue to be christ witness in whatever we say and do. In Jesus name we pray.
