Jesus is calling all of Us

Gospel
John 1:47-51
You will see the sky opened and the angels of God ascending and descending on the Son of Man.

Jesus saw Nathanael coming toward him and said of him, “Here is a true child of Israel. There is no duplicity in him.” Nathanael said to him, “How do you know me?” Jesus answered and said to him, “Before Philip called you, I saw you under the fig tree.” Nathanael answered him, “Rabbi, you are the Son of God; you are the King of Israel.” Jesus answered and said to him, “Do you believe because I told you that I saw you under the fig tree? You will see greater things than this.” And he said to him, “Amen, amen, I say to you, you will see heaven opened and the angels of God ascending and descending on the Son of Man.”

Reflection
Jesus called and nathaniel became a disciple . He told him you will see greater things. Today God call us by our name . He wants us to join him to see him in eternal glory. We need to ask ourselves are we truly his disciples. Do we really want to journey with him by being disciples of the word?

Let us pray.
Thank you for calling us. Give us the strength to be your faithful disciple. Only that way more people will be to see your greatness in eternal glory. Amen

God honour the faithful servant

The Way The Truth and the Life

Gospel John 5:17-30 The dead will hear the voice of the Son of God, and all who hear it will live Jesus said to the Jews, ‘My Father goes on working, and so do I.’ But that only made them even more intent on killing him, because, not content with breaking the sabbath, he spoke of God as his own Father, and so made himself God’s equal.
