Plan Pray and Act

Gospel
Luke 6:12-19
He spent the night in prayer. He chose Twelve, whom he also named Apostles.

Jesus departed to the mountain to pray, and he spent the night in prayer to God. When day came, he called his disciples to himself, and from them he chose Twelve, whom he also named Apostles: Simon, whom he named Peter, and his brother Andrew, James, John, Philip, Bartholomew, Matthew, Thomas, James the son of Alphaeus, Simon who was called a Zealot, and Judas the son of James, and Judas Iscariot, who became a traitor.
    And he came down with them and stood on a stretch of level ground. A great crowd of his disciples and a large number of the people from all Judea and Jerusalem and the coastal region of Tyre and Sidon came to hear him and to be healed of their diseases; and even those who were tormented by unclean spirits were cured. Everyone in the crowd sought to touch him because power came forth from him and healed them all.

Reflection.
Jesus plan to elect the 12 apostles. He went to the mountain to pray. He then execute his plan . He chose the 12 apostles . He then continued his work proclaiming the kingdom of God. What does this teaches us? The first thing we must do is plan. Secondly we pray. Thirdly we execute the plan. Even as witness of christ we must do the same in our plan to do witnessing.
Do we plan and pray before we act on our plan?

Let us pray
Oh God help us so that whatever we decide to do in our life we will begin with a prayer. We also pray we are able to execute our plan with the power of the holy spirit.We make this prayer in Jesus name. Amen

His mother Mary was betrothed to Joseph; but before they came to live together she was found to be with child through the Holy Spirit. No respect for Christ or John

Gospel Matthew 11:16-19 They heed neither John nor the Son of Man Jesus spoke to the crowds: ‘What description can I find for this generation?
