Christ will raise us up on the last day

Gospel
John 6:37-40
Everyone who believes in the Son will have eternal life and I shall raise him up on the last day.

Jesus said to the crowds: “Everything that the Father gives me will come to me, and I will not reject anyone who comes to me, because I came down from heaven not to do my own will but the will of the one who sent me. And this is the will of the one who sent me, that I should not lose anything of what he gave me, but that I should raise it on the last day. For this is the will of my Father, that everyone who sees the Son and believes in him may have eternal life, and I shall raise him on the last day.”

Reflection
Jesus came from heaven not to do his will but to do the father's will. The father's will is those who chose to be follower of Christ will have eternal life. What is important is to be a believer ,live in his way may have eternal life and be raised on the last day. Are we living the way of Christ?

Let us pray

Lord Jesus the way to the kingdom of God is believe in you and live in your way. Grant we will keep our faith in you and bring more believers to you so that more will be raised on the last day.

No respect for Christ or John
