Luke 13:18-21
When it was fully grown, it became a large bush.
Luke 13:18-21
When it was fully grown, it became a large bush.
Jesus said, “What is the Kingdom of God like? To what can I compare it? It is like a mustard seed that a man took and planted in the garden. When it was fully grown, it became a large bush and the birds of the sky dwelt in its branches.”
Again he said, “To what shall I compare the Kingdom of God? It is like yeast that a woman took and mixed in with three measures of wheat flour until the whole batch of dough was leavened.”
Again he said, “To what shall I compare the Kingdom of God? It is like yeast that a woman took and mixed in with three measures of wheat flour until the whole batch of dough was leavened.”
Reflection
The mustard seed is very small. Overtime after planting it turns in to a big tree for birds to graze. The yeast also act as a growth agent. Jesus is talking about the growth of followers of Christ. It is the little that everyone do that help the growth. Today if the word can be shared to the ones we know it will have a multiplying effect.

Let us pray
Lord Jesus when you came to earth you meant to forgive sin and lead them to the kingdom of God. However the harvest is great and the labourers are few. Send the holy spirit on us oh lord so that we can do our part.
