Repent and listen to Christ

Gospel
Luke 10:13-16
Whoever rejects me rejects the one who sent me.

Jesus said to them, “Woe to you, Chorazin! Woe to you, Bethsaida! For if the mighty deeds done in your midst had been done in Tyre and Sidon, they would long ago have repented, sitting in sackcloth and ashes. But it will be more tolerable for Tyre and Sidon at the judgment than for you. And as for you, Capernaum, ‘Will you be exalted to heaven? You will go down to the netherworld.’ Whoever listens to you listens to me. Whoever rejects you rejects me. And whoever rejects me rejects the one who sent me.”

Reflection
Jesus expects people to repent after listening to the word of God. Sadly it did not all the time .He also said whoever listens to you listen to the one who send me.Today we are the chosen one to share the word of God How do we react to the rejection that we face?

Let us pray
Lord Jesus you came to this world so that people will repent and have people enter the kingdom of God. Unfortunately the number who reject and non repentant are increasing. Help us oh lord by our words and action we will show them the beauty of the kingdom of God and eternal life.
