Christ say be vigilant

Luke 21:34-36
Be vigilant that you may have the strength to escape the tribulations that are imminent.

Jesus said to his disciples: “Beware that your hearts do not become drowsy from carousing and drunkenness and the anxieties of daily life, and that day catch you by surprise like a trap. For that day will assault everyone who lives on the face of the earth. Be vigilant at all times and pray that you have the strength to escape the tribulations that are imminent and to stand before the Son of Man.”

Reflection
We have the tendency to drown in our sorrow when faced with tribulation. As a result we lose the sight of God.The question is what happen to our faith? It is for this reason we must remain faithful at all times. We must stay vigilant for we do know when the hour is coming.

Let us pray.
Lord Jesus you told us not to drown in sorrow but stay vigilant for we do not when the hour is coming. May we remain focus on you oh lord as we continue the journey of faith.
