Come to Christ when burdened

Gospel
Matthew 11:28-30
Come to me, all you who labor.

Jesus said to the crowds: “Come to me, all you who labor and are burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am meek and humble of heart; and you will find rest for yourselves. For my yoke is easy, and my burden light.”

Reflection
How do we feel when we are heavy laden.From time to time we are emotionally distress because of the challenges we face in our life. This distress can be very heavy. However the burden could have been lightened if we listened to the word of God . Do we lighten our burden by following the word of God?

Let us pray
Lord Jesus you have said come to me when heavy laden for your yoke is easy and burden light. Grant we pray by following your word through the power of the holy spirit we will find rest and our burden light.
