Jesus' relatives were convinced he was out of his mind

Jesus went home, and once more such a crowd collected that they could not even have a meal. When his relatives heard of this, they set out to take charge of him, convinced he was out of his mind.

Reflection
Why did the people in Nazareth opposed Christ? Nazareth is actually a small town where the people are closed with each other. They lead a simple life. When they saw Christ with a big crowd they are not happy. Firstly it is disturbing the peace and secondly Christ is the son of a carpenter. Yet he is talking about the kingdom of God. When we profess the kingdom of God we too will face opposition but what we need is remain to be strong.

Let us pray
Lord Jesus no matter how difficult you continued to share the message of eternal life. Grant we pray we too will always follow in your footsteps.
