Matthew 7:21,24-27
The wise man built his house on a rock

Jesus said to his disciples: ‘It is not those who say to me, “Lord, Lord,” who will enter the kingdom of heaven, but the person who does the will of my Father in heaven. Therefore, everyone who listens to these words of mine and acts on them will be like a sensible man who built his house on rock. Rain came down, floods rose, gales blew and hurled themselves against that house, and it did not fall: it was founded on rock. But everyone who listens to these words of mine and does not act on them will be like a stupid man who built his house on sand. Rain came down, floods rose, gales blew and struck that house, and it fell; and what a fall it had!’

Reflection
Only those who do my father's will can enter the kingdom of God. What is the Father's will? The Father's will to me is read the word of God. The word of God is a road map and an instruction to the kingdom of God. Follow the instruction and act upon it. Do we believe the bible is a guide to the kingdom of God?

Let us pray
Lord Jesus you said only those who does the Father's will can be save. Grant we pray we will do the Father's will by taking instruction from the bible.

Gospel Luke 17:20-25 The kingdom of God is among you Asked by the Pharisees when the kingdom of God was to come, Jesus gave them this answer, ‘The coming of the kingdom of God does not admit of observation and there will be no one to say, “Look here!
