Be fruitful

Except a corn of wheat fall into the ground and die, it abideth alone: but if it die, it bringeth forth much fruit. 
John 12:24

One of the greatest tragedy in life for me is not knowing the apostles name. Beside James John Simon Peter and the famous Judas Iscariot is all I remember. I don't remember the rest. The main reason I believe they were  promoting Christ. Along the way except for John the rest were killed.They were not successful people and they do not have personal success story. Instead they are  the grain that dies and grew a hundred fold. Yes they are not successful but fruitful.
How is it related to us? The world today recognise us as successful through our personal successful story . Sad to say this success story can only bring us to a certain point . On the other hand being fruitful will bring hope and multiply the next generation into Christ fold. Even a small deed like  going to church during heavy rain  will influence the young generation to go. 
Which do we choose being successful or being fruitful.
