Matthew 22:34-40
The commandments of love

When the Pharisees heard that Jesus had silenced the Sadducees they got together and, to disconcert him, one of them put a question, ‘Master, which is the greatest commandment of the Law?’ Jesus said, ‘You must love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your mind. This is the greatest and the first commandment. The second resembles it: You must love your neighbour as yourself. On these two commandments hang the whole Law, and the Prophets also.’

Reflection
Christ made 2 statements to summarise the 10 commandments. Love God Love your neighbor as you love your yourself. The keyword is Love because if you are filled with love you will not hurt God or people.

Lord Jesus fill us with your Love.

The kingdom of God is among us

Gospel Luke 17:20-25 The kingdom of God is among you Asked by the Pharisees when the kingdom of God was to come, Jesus gave them this answer, ‘The coming of the kingdom of God does not admit of observation and there will be no one to say, “Look here! His mother Mary was betrothed to Joseph; but before they came to live together she was found to be with child through the Holy Spirit.
