Gospel Matthew 13:44-46 He sells everything he owns and buys the field Jesus said to the crowds: ‘The kingdom of heaven is like treasure hidden in a field which someone has found; he hides it again, goes off happy, sells everything he owns and buys the field.     ‘Again, the kingdom of heaven is like a merchant looking for fine pearls; when he finds one of great value he goes and sells everything he owns and buys it.’ Reflection As we continue our journey on the kingdom of heaven and what it is like Christ describe it as a treasure in a hidden field and also a fine pearl. The treasure and the pearl is so precious he sold everything to get the treasure and the pearl. Today what we need to answer is how far will we go for the kingdom of God? Let us pray Lord Jesus you have revealed to us no treasure is greater than your kingdom. May we stay focus so that we will be with you in your kingdom when the time comes.  Amen

Gospel Matthew 12:46-50 My mother and my brothers are anyone who does the will of my Father in heaven Jesus was speaking to the crowds when his mother and his brothers appeared; they were standing outside and were anxious to have a word with him. Gospel Matthew 12:38-42 There is something greater than Solomon here Some of the scribes and Pharisees spoke up. ‘Master,’ they said ‘we should like to see a sign from you.’ He replied, ‘It is an evil and unfaithful generation that asks for a sign! The only sign it will be given is the sign of the prophet Jonah. For as Jonah was in the belly of the sea-monster for three days and three nights, so will the Son of Man be in the heart of the earth for three days and three nights. On Judgement day the men of Nineveh will stand up with this generation and condemn it, because when Jonah preached they repented; and there is something greater than Jonah here.
